Toll-Free Verification

Toll-free numbers have long been associated with large, established companies. That same level of trust and confidence is available to use for messaging.

Sending messages from toll-free numbers has a higher cost than 10DLC, but additional benefits as well:

  • higher user trust level
  • high throughput
  • simpler review process

Carriers limit Toll-free messaging to one number per business location. No number pooling is permitted.

Toll-Free Registration​

Registering for sending messages via a toll-free number begins by completing the Verified Sender Request form. Once completed, or if you have any questions, contact your CarrierX representative.

Approval Timeline​

The time required for approval can vary based on the content and complexity, but is generally completed within 5-10 business days.

Fees​

There is no cost associated with registering for toll-free messaging. Per message costs are higher than sending long-code messages.
